At The Random Agency we are a small team but between us we have a wide range of skills. The fact is that the world has gone digital and if you run any sort of business you need to be digital too – even if you are a charity or a non-profit. You might even own what the Americans call a “mom and pop store” so your business depends on people physically walking into your shop and spending money. However, if you want more people to do so you still need an online presence. We are now, after all, well into the 21st century.
This is why professional web development is so important. It is not just the initial design of your website that is important – although getting that right is critical – but the ongoing maintenance and updating to keep your website visitors coming back for more. Nothing stands still online. In fact, it moves very fast – so fast, in fact, that what worked yesterday may very well not work today.
What’s more, it is also true that the majority of people are not what we would call “tech savvy”. We use that expression because we are, and we get great satisfaction out of coming up with creative ideas that drive our clients’ businesses forward. Ultimately, we are all in business for profit (with the exception of charities and non-profits) and at The Random Agency our job is to look after the technological side of things to ensure that your business makes greater profits this month than it did last month. If we didn’t achieve that we would not have been in business for as long as we have.
For example, does your website need SSL certification? Even if you are not sure what that means, let us tell you that it does and we can provide it. What about database cleaning and optimisation? 24/7 security monitoring? Anti DDoS? Custom hardening? 404/Login protection? This will start to sound like gibberish to the majority of business owners, but that’s not surprising.
After all, we all have our own specialities. If you run a gardening business you will know the Latin names for many plants, which we wouldn’t begin to understand. If you run a pharmacy you will understand the (very complicated) names of drugs and medicines. If you are a manufacturer there will be all sorts of technical terms which you use which the man in the street (including us) doesn’t understand.
So don’t struggle with all of the “tech” terms of website development. Let us do all that for you while you get on with doing what you do best which is running your business. What we do in the background is to help you to increase your profits.
